McDonald’s introduces strict limit on how much food people can order as restaurants reopen
Free fries anyone? (Image: Steve Parsons/PA Wire)Today McDonald will reopen 15 stores in the UK, as the fast food chain launches a test scheme to see if it can safely provide food to customers while ensuring social distancing measures are met in kitchens.
At the minute, only stores in the South of England will be opening, and customers will only be able to get their Maccies fix by ordering through UberEats.
However, to help limit orders and to keep staff safe, McDonald has introduced a limited menu, which does not include some of its most iconic items, like Chicken Legends, milkshakes and Maccies breakfasts.
And now McDonald has introduced a new menu rule, which means that shoppers can only order up to 25 worth of food.
